What timing the old site crashes right before a new release. It reminds me of the scene from the film "Amélie" when young Amélie is setting on the roof of her neighbor disconnecting the tv antenna in the middle of the soccer match.

Ah well, it was good to lose the old forum for a while. It gave me some time to work on my next "Happy Synthesizer" video. There were a couple of steps that were really giving me trouble, but now I've got them down.

CHYSN: Thanks so much for creating this forum. It's a shame that we've lost so much useful information on the old forum.

I have local copies of most of the P08 patch uploads through 2013. If you could create a patch exchange section of this forum I could upload them all. Let me know how you think this should be handled.

I also have a few notes I copied from the old forum on the topic of P08 programming tips. The notes are in very rough format so I'd need to spend time cleaning them up before offering them for public viewing. It will be a few weeks before I have time to get to this.

It looks like you can change this forum's name from "Dave Smith Instruments Forum Lifeboat" to "Dave Smith Instruments Forum" soon. The old forum is still down and I really doubt that it will ever see the light of the day again.

That's a good idea. This is a new forum for registered users only.

Edit: There's a sub-forum for each instrument family forum dedicated to patches.
